Lumière du Noir is a metaphor for being stuck in a very dark place, a place of comfort and apathy and finally discovering the possibilities of the world outside of your comfort zone, a world with light and potential.

The cave COLLECTION (3)- SOLD OUT

The Collection includes includes a series of 3 art pieces created from multiple images taken from the inside of caves around the world. These caves represent being stuck inside yourself, isolated and disconnected. Inside, there is only darkness, comfort, and apathy. Outside, there is light, discovery and potential. Each cave image tells a story and symbolizes different ways to break out of your own comfort zone: creatively, physically and mentally. These 3 pieces will come with a physical print, framed, signed, with a certificate of authenticity. The size of the print will be determines by the collector and Cath once the purchase is completed.

The Master Experience includes a single image and an in-person experience from a place within the light : Spirit Island, a remote mystical island located in the heart of the Canadian Rockies.

This photograph is the most viral and appreciated of my entire body of work. It has been viewed and shared tens of millions of times on social media and featured on some of the largest photography pages.

Lumière du noir” is really a metaphor for the early days of my own life. When I was 15 I was scouted by a modelling agency and within a week I was doing my first contract. For me, modelling was both a place of comfort, and conformity. It was a place where the expectations fit the mold left me questioning myself and what truly made me happy. 

Then I discovered the mountains. Imposing, intimidating and limitless. Like a mysterious force, they pulled me in and pushed me to be the best version of myself; physically, mentally and creatively. They transformed me, they toughened me, and they trained me to find my inner strength through total exhaustion. When I get to the top of a mountain alone, overlooking the world around me, it feels like nothing else exists but me. Being alone made me realize the mysterious light that guided me outside of my own cave has always been me. 

With this drop, I wish to inspire people to get out of their caves, learn to embrace discomfort and uncertainty and to appreciate adversity and unease. To get comfortable with being uncomfortable. To understand that adventure is right here, just on the edge of your comfort zone.
