LE COMMENCEMENT
Part of Cath Simard’s Genesis Drop, LE COMMENCEMENT includes a single image and an in-person experience from a place within the light ; Spirit Island, a remote mystical island located in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. This photograph is the most appreciated of my entire work. It has been viewed and shared tens of millions of times on social media and featured on some of the largest photography pages. This is one of the places where I truly got outside of my own comfort zone and began to overcome the fear of the unknown. I want to inspire one person to actually step outside of their own comfort zone.
The first collector of LE COMMENCEMENT will be gifted a 4-night 5-day trip in the Canadian Rockies hosted by me & including a 2-night backcountry canoe experience to Spirit Island.
The collector will receive a 10X10 HD sublimated metal print, framed, signed with a certificate of authenticity

From the towering peaks to the alpine meadows, from the turquoise lakes to the cascading waterfalls, the Canadian Rockies are a destination that needs to be seen to be believed. Join world renowned landscape and composite photographer Cath Simard as your host to adventure over five days and four nights right in her own backyard.
You’ll arrive in the city of Calgary, Alberta and begin your hand-picked, curated mountain experience. You’ll travel through Banff National Park and Jasper National Park, two of the most beautiful and iconic national parks in Canada with an experience adaptable to your fitness level and outdoor experience. Along with taking home the memories along the way, Cath will photograph your adventure and provide a selection of images of the trip to the winning collector - personal use only.
The trip will culminate with a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, a 2-night backcountry canoe trip with a professional guide to Spirit Island -- a remote mystical island located in the heart of the Canadian Rockies.
